British High Commissioner Jane Marriott extended her greetings to the Pakistani people on the occasion of Eidul Fitr, marking her first Ramadan and Eid celebration in Pakistan since assuming her role.
In her Eid message, she expressed admiration for the country’s spirit of generosity, hospitality, and charity during the holy month, alongside appreciating the variety of sweet dishes enjoyed during this time.
Similarly, Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins and US Ambassador Donald Blome also conveyed their Eid wishes to the Pakistani Muslim community, emphasizing joy and safety during the celebrations.
Hawkins, in particular, expressed his excitement for indulging in sweet treats like Gulab Jamun during Eid festivities.
