Gaza refugees and Dr. Hafeezur Rahman, head of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, celebrated Eid-ul-Zuha in Cairo, Egypt.

In addition to giving gifts to children and supervising the distribution of sacrificial meat among the evacuees, Dr. Rahman also paid hospital visits to the injured.

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is sacrificing 1,600 cows and 1,300 goats, according to Dr. Hafeezur Rahman, in order to help the oppressed Palestinian Muslims in Gaza. In particular, 1,500 cows and 1,200 goats will be killed in Karachi, Pakistan; 100 sheep will be offered as sacrifices in Gaza and Al-Quds; and 100 cows in Cairo, Egypt.

Whereas the meat from sacrifices in Pakistan was packaged in tin containers and shipped to Gaza, the meat from sacrifices in Pakistan was distributed right away in Gaza and Egypt.

“Eid is a festival of joy, and the people of Pakistan are remembering their Palestinian brothers and sisters during this festive season,” stated Dr. Hafeezur Rahman. With intentions to carry on for the three days of Eid, the Alkhidmat Foundation has started offering sacrifices in support of the Palestinian families that evacuated Gaza and are currently refugees in Cairo. Chiller trucks will transport the sacrificed meat to the homes of Gaza refugees in Cairo. After completing their preparations, volunteers from the Alkhidmat Foundation in Cairo will make sure the sacrificial meat reaches the 2,000 Gaza refugee families residing in Cairo. In Cairo, a lavish feast is also planned for the Gaza refugees.

Dr. Rahman said that the Alkhidmat Foundation has leased an eight-story residential structure on the outskirts of Cairo to host Palestinian families for a year while touring the warehouse during his visit. Two thousand families have been enrolled with the organization in Cairo, and two hundred of those families are receiving housing and basic necessities.
