CM Maryam Nawaz inaugurates Multan Road Interchange

On Friday, Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, officially inaugurated the Multan Road Interchange. In recognition of the project’s completion, the toll tax on the SL-III section has been waived for one month. This temporary measure will allow citizens to travel along this route free of charge, providing an immediate benefit to the local community.

During the inauguration, the Chief Minister stated the importance of the SL-III project and directed officials to expedite the next phase, known as the SL-IV project. She personally inspected the road stretch from Ada Plot to the Multan Road Interchange to assess the progress and quality of the infrastructure.

Additionally, Maryam Nawaz conducted a detailed review of the Multan Road Interchange, a crucial component of the Lahore Ring Road. Malik Suhaib, the Punjab Minister of Communications, provided a comprehensive briefing on the project.

He highlighted that the SL-III Multan Road Interchange is the largest interchange in the province of Punjab, acknowledging its significance in the region’s transportation network.

In her remarks, Maryam Nawaz pointed out that the completion of SL-III will significantly reduce traffic congestion on the inner roads of Lahore. She stressed that this project is vital for improving traffic management within the city, as it will facilitate smoother and more efficient travel for residents and commuters.
