CM Maryam visits Holy Family Hospital, orders improvements and increased wages for laborers

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inspected various wards and directed improvements to ensure better healthcare facilities for patients, in a surprise visit to the Holy Family Hospital.

During her visit, she noticed the low wages of laborers and ordered complete payment according to the Wages Act.

CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif showed concern for the patients’ well-being, inquiring about their health and the availability of medicines. She also stopped to talk to family members of patients who were sitting under a tree in the scorching heat, using handmade fans for air. She directed the arrangement of sheds and electric fans for the attendants.

The Chief Minister reviewed the hospital’s revamping project, inspecting the newly constructed and rehabilitated block. She also examined the under-construction New Block and directed the C&W department to complete the construction work by June 30.

A team of doctors from RIC was dispatched to the hospital on the CM’s direction. Patients and their families appreciated the CM’s concern and efforts to improve the hospital’s facilities.
