COAS highlights the role of youth in shaping the nation at Pakistan Youth Conference

In an address at the Pakistan National Youth Conference held at the Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir stressed the importance of youth in molding Pakistan’s future.

He expressed tremendous satisfaction in addressing the nation’s future builders and emphasized the reason of Pakistan’s establishment, underlining the uniqueness of its religion, culture, and civilization.

“The purpose of creating Pakistan was that our religion, culture and civilization are different from Hindus in all respects and not for us to adopt Western civilization and culture,” advised the Army Chief, “the youth of Pakistan should be sure that they are the heirs of a great homeland and nation.”

He emphasized the youth’s duty as protectors of national traditions and interpreters of Iqbal and Quaid’s ambitions. While appreciating the Pakistan Army’s capabilities to battle terrorism, he emphasized the need of national collaboration in the face of this challenge.

Additionally, General Munir discussed social media and propaganda, highlighting their role in spreading doubt, instability, and despair. He emphasized the need of research and positive thinking in promoting social peace.

Recognizing Pakistan’s tremendous resources and youthful workforce, he thanked Allah for His bounties. General Munir stated that the military are always ready to resist any danger or plot, underlining that Pakistan would not give up its sovereignty.

“If there is Pakistan then we are, if there is no Pakistan then we are nothing,” the COAS stated firmly, ending his address on a strong note.
