Cricket Canada has finalized its official squad of 15 players, along with five reserves, for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
Saad Bin Zafar will lead Canada in their debut appearance at the Men’s T20 World Cup.
The squad boasts a blend of experience and youth, with Harsh Thaker, Nicholas Kirton, and Dilpreet Bajwa being the youngest players at under 30 years old.
Despite their youth, Thaker and Kirton have already proven themselves as integral members of the Canadian team.
The squad includes: Saad Bin Zafar (Captain), Aaron Johnson, Dilon Heyliger, Dilpreet Bajwa, Harsh Thaker, Jeremy Gordon, Junaid Siddiqui, Kaleem Sana, Kanwarpal Tathgur (wicketkeeper), Navneet Dhaliwal, Nicholas Kirton, Pargat Singh, Ravinderpal Singh, Rayyankhan Pathan, and Shreyas Movva (wicketkeeper).
