Do you know longest word in English language?

PS:Indy100

In any English dictionary, the longest word is “pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis” which consists of 45 letters.

This word is primarily used for a disease of the lungs caused by inhaling very fine silica particles often found in volcanic ash.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, it was coined in the 1930s by the president of the National Puzzlers League as a term to describe medical conditions.

While other languages also have lengthy words such as the 63-letter-longest word in the German language, according to the Guinness World Records, the longest word in any language is in Sanskrit consisting of 195 Sanskrit characters.

However, it’s worth noting that certain chemical names can exceed 100,000 letters but these are considered technical terms rather than legitimate words for linguistic purposes.
