Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds had a feud on the set of ‘Red Notice’?

Reports from foreign media outlets ‘TheWrap’ and ‘TMZ’ have surfaced, indicating a heated dispute between Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds during the filming of the 2021 Netflix movie ‘Red Notice’.

The action comedy, which also featured Gal Gadot, centered around an FBI agent and an art thief entangled in a series of double-crosses.

Despite its star-studded cast and substantial budget, the film received criticism for its exaggerated action scenes.

Insiders revealed that tensions between Johnson and Reynolds reached a climax when Reynolds waited for five hours for Johnson, resulting in a heated argument and Johnson walking off the set.

The two actors allegedly did not communicate until recently when they reconciled their differences.

While TheWrap characterized the incident as a “major altercation”, TMZ, citing sources, portrayed it as less dramatic but confirmed that Reynolds did address the issue with his co-star.

‘Red Notice’, an action-comedy, premiered on Netflix on November 12, 2021, following a limited theatrical release on November 5, 2021.

The film garnered mixed reviews, with praise for performances, action sequences, and humor, but criticism for its plot and screenplay.

Despite the mixed reception, ‘Red Notice’ has two sequels in development, set to be filmed consecutively.

The film’s appeal lies in its star-studded cast, including Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot, along with its entertaining storyline filled with action.

Dwayne Johnson has several exciting projects lined up, including the Christmas action film “Red One”, co-starring Chris Evans, slated for release in 2024.

He will also return as Maui in the highly anticipated sequel to Disney’s “Moana”, also scheduled for 2024.

Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds has a busy schedule ahead, with the third installment of the Deadpool franchise set to hit theaters on May 3, 2024.

He will also star in John Krasinski’s directorial project “Imaginary Friends” and lead the fantasy adventure film “Dragon’s Lair: The Movie”, among other projects.

Additionally, Reynolds will reprise his role in the sequel to ‘Red Notice’ currently in production.
