Egypt PM: Only two state solution can avert regional conflict for Israel and Palestine

Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli stated the urgency of implementing a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine to prevent a potential regional and global conflict.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum, Madbouli highlighted the detrimental impact of the current situation on the future of Israel and called for global unity in recognizing the rights of Palestinians.

Madbouli stressed the necessity of a two-state solution as the key to achieving regional peace and warned against the consequences of delaying a resolution.

Other panelists, including Jordan’s Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh and UN coordinator Sigrid Kaag, expressed their frustration with the ongoing crisis in Gaza and stated the need for political solutions and investment in the region.

The panelists called on Israel to engage seriously in reaching a political resolution and highlighted the devastating impact of the conflict on the mental health and well-being of the Palestinian people.

They urged the international community to prioritize human rights and work towards a sustainable and inclusive solution for the region.
