Pakistan’s expected Finance Minister, Muhammad Aurangzeb Ramde, is prepared to take on the new role and address the country’s ailing economy by foregoing a monthly salary of 30 million rupees and relinquishing Dutch nationality.

Close sources to Muhammad Aurangzeb have disclosed that the anticipated Finance Minister has initiated the process to renounce his Dutch citizenship.

Although Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has not officially announced his cabinet, according to a report by Dawn News editor Anusit Gishan, Muhammad Aurangzeb has already met with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He also participated in the meeting held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday regarding finance. Muhammad Aurangzeb is listed among the top five CEOs receiving the highest salaries from banks.
