Tragically, a devastating accident occurred near Jamshoro Lonikot on Motorway 9 (M9), claiming the lives of six individuals following a collision between a trolley and a van.The incident unfolded during the midnight hours when a trolley collided with a passenger van at Lonikot.
The collision resulted in the loss of three lives, while 14 others sustained injuries. Preliminary investigations by the police attribute the cause of the accident to excessive speed, although further inquiries are ongoing.
All injured individuals have been promptly transported to Jamshoro Hospital, where three of them remain in critical condition.
Authorities have disclosed that the passenger van was en route from Karachi to Hyderabad at the time of the collision.
Tragically, the toll of casualties escalated as three more injured individuals succumbed to their injuries, bringing the total number of fatalities to six.
