Flag-hoisting ceremony held by High Commission in New Delhi

    The High Commission of Pakistan in New Delhi celebrated Pakistan’s National Day with patriotic fervor through a flag-hoisting ceremony.

    Saad Ahmad Warraich, the Charge d’Affaires of Pakistan to India, raised the national flag at the Chancery lawn, where messages from Pakistan’s president and prime minister were also shared.

    Warraich highlighted the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam and the sacrifices made by millions during Pakistan’s independence struggle, emphasizing the need to honor their memory by working towards the country’s prosperity.

    He praised Pakistan’s progress since independence, attributing its success to the resilience and determination of its people.

    Warraich emphasized Pakistan’s strategic importance and its role in promoting trade, connectivity, and regional integration.

    He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful coexistence and its desire for a peaceful relationship with India, emphasizing the importance of resolving all issues, including the Kashmir dispute, through peaceful means.

    Warraich concluded by stating that Pakistan’s pursuit of peace reflects its strength and confidence as a nation.
