Al Jazeera reported that the UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territory, Francesca Albanese, condemned Israel’s ongoing attacks on Gaza since October at the UN Human Rights Council. Albanese described the devastating toll, including numerous deaths, irreversible harm to survivors, and the systematic destruction of vital infrastructure such as hospitals, schools, and homes. She stated the disproportionate impact on children, pregnant women, and young mothers.
