Gen (retd) Bajwa gives NRO to Imran Khan: Malik Ahmed Khan

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Malik Ahmed Khan claimed on Friday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan received an “NRO” from Gen. (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa, saving him from disqualification in the Bani Gala case.

The PML-N leader claimed during a press conference on Friday that Imran Khan had benefited from an NRO issued by General Bajwa and that Jahangir Tarin had to be disqualified as collateral damage. He stated that at the time, they told Gen. (ret.) Bajwa, that Imran Khan would be catastrophic for the country.

Imran Khan claimed on Thursday that Gen. (retd) Bajwa offered the PDM leaders an “NRO 2.”

Khan has turned his weapons toward Gen. (retd) Bajwa since his “cypher” narrative was exposed, Ahmed continued.

The PTI chairman alleged in his speech on Thursday that the “gang of corrupts” were now receiving clean chit thanks to the “NRO 2” that former COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa had given them.

By giving the NRO-II to the group of corrupt individuals, according to Khan, Gen (retd), Bajwa showed cruelty to the nation.

Attacking the former army chief, the PTI reaffirmed that his government was overthrown as the result of a plot and that thieves had been imposed on the nation.

The former PM has previously accused the former COAS of treachery and said he was unaware of how he was being misled and betrayed. Additionally, he has acknowledged that it was a “mistake” to grant COAS Gen (retd) Bajwa an extension.
