Government initiatives result in reduction of flour prices

The price of flour in Islamabad has experienced a significant decrease, moving from Rs10 to Rs20 per kg.

This reduction in price has had a positive impact on the public, with the price of various flour bag sizes also being lowered. The price of a 1 kg flour bag has gone down to Rs1200 from Rs1470, while a 10 kg bag now costs Rs270, a 15 kg bag costs Rs600, and a 20 kg bag costs Rs630.

In addition to these changes, the price of first-class flour has decreased to Rs160 from Rs170, and second-class flour now costs Rs150 instead of Rs160. The price of bread has also been reduced from Rs10 to Rs20, with small loaves now costing Rs120 and large loaves priced at Rs220.

It is worth mentioning that just a few days ago, the price of a 20 kg flour bag had dropped to Rs800 before this recent decrease.
