Hania Aamir addresses relationship with rapper Badshah

Hania Aamir, the acclaimed Pakistani actress renowned for her outstanding performances in television and film, recently shed light on her friendship with the famous Indian singer Badshah. Their camaraderie, which piqued interest following several encounters in Dubai, was discussed in detail during a segment on BBC Asia’s show hosted by Haroon Rasheed.

Aamir, who has an impressive Instagram following of 13 million, gained considerable recognition in India for her role in the popular drama series “Mere Humsafar.” However, it was her interactions with Badshah that grabbed the headlines, as the two celebrities were seen together multiple times in Dubai.

Recounting the start of their friendship, Aamir revealed, “He commented on one of my Instagram reels, and when my friend told me about Badshah’s comment, I was surprised. I checked and saw his message, and that’s how we began exchanging messages on Instagram.” While she didn’t specify who sent the first direct message, she emphasized the special nature of their interaction, noting, “It was quite unique, and I didn’t reach out to him because of his superstar status, but because he seemed genuinely cool, and our interaction was very pleasant.”

Aamir described Badshah as a “great friend” and praised his humble nature, adding, “Apart from his Badshah persona, he is a kind person, very real, and that’s why we connected. He always checks up on me if I haven’t posted Instagram reels.”

Talking about her popularity in India, Aamir expressed a sense of connection between Indian and Pakistani cultures, saying, “It’s not surprising. I’ve always felt that Indians and Pakistanis share many similarities, making it easy to appreciate each other. Although I sometimes wish I could thank them in person, I value the relationships I’ve built with them outside of Pakistan.”
