Hollywood actor donates signed ‘Joker’ poster to Gaza fundraiser

International media reports reveal that a group of female filmmakers and film journalists, under the banner of ‘Cinema for Gaza’, have raised over $300,000 for British charity medical aid for Gaza. Hollywood celebrities contributed valuable items to this campaign, including a signed poster of the blockbuster movie ‘Joker’ donated by Oscar-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix.

The campaign, spearheaded by London-based film journalist and critic Hana Flint, aimed to support Gaza amidst ongoing attacks by Israel. Donations poured in from renowned Hollywood figures, including director Jonathan Glazer, who contributed seven posters of his film ‘The Zone of Interest’. Flint expressed surprise at surpassing their initial fundraising target, originally set at $25,000.
