Inspector General (IG) Punjab, Usman Anwar, has directed an increase in security measures across the province, including at the Punjab assembly.
In discussions with the media regarding security concerns for the upcoming presidential elections, Usman Anwar emphasized the importance of ensuring security arrangements during the polling process. He expressed the need for members of the assembly to be able to exercise their voting rights in a peaceful and secure environment.
Anwar stressed that no individual should take the law into their own hands, and warned that legal action would be taken against anyone engaging in such behavior.
