Imran Khan changes lawyer for Tosha Khana case

Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), made changes to his legal representation in the Tosha Khana case.

Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Basheer presided over the proceedings related to the Tosha Khana and 190 million pounds references against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi at Adiala Jail, with Imran Khan present in the courtroom.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan replaced his lawyers in the Tosha Khana case, appointing Sikandar Zulqarnain and Salman Safdar in lieu of Latif Khosa and Shahbaz Khosa.

The newly appointed lawyers requested time to submit their legal documents until January 27. Consequently, the court adjourned the hearing of the Tosha Khana case until January 27 and the hearing of the 190 million pound reference until January 30.

The court cited Bushra Bibi’s absence as the reason for the adjournment and directed her to appear on January 30. Notably, both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi have not yet been charged in the 190 million pound reference.

It is worth mentioning that recent reports had suggested Imran Khan’s dissatisfaction with Latif Khosa’s performance in the Tosha Khana case, prompting the change in legal representation.
