Imran Khan’s interim bail extended in three cases

The interim bail for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has been prolonged until tomorrow (Tuesday) in three separate cases.

In the proceedings overseen by Lahore’s Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Arshad Javed, the cases pertaining to the Jinnah House attack, Askari Tower attack, and the arson at Shadman police station were discussed.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s interim bail in these three cases was extended by the court until the following day.

Furthermore, the court instructed the accused to attend proceedings via video link from Adiala Jail. Imran Khan’s lawyer, Salman Safdar, was also instructed to present his arguments during the next hearing.

Previously, former Prime Minister Imran Khan was granted an interim bill in four cases related to the May 9 events, including attacks on military institutions and other incidents.

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) confirmed that the bail was issued but it is subject to the submission of surety bonds worth PKR 500,000.

The charges against Imran in these cases include the attack on police near Zaman Park, the murder of PTI activist Zille Shah, the burning of a PML-N office in Model Town, and the burning of a container at Kalma Chowk.
