Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi holds talks with MQM delegation on political landscape

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi engaged in discussions with a delegation from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Thursday, delving into various aspects of the political scenario and matters of mutual concern.

The meeting also centered around the law and order situation prevailing in Karachi, with both parties exchanging viewpoints on the matter. Minister Naqvi reaffirmed his commitment to playing a proactive role in addressing the issues raised by the MQM delegation, emphasizing the importance of consensus-building among political entities for effective problem-solving.

Concurrently, Minister Naqvi met with the Chinese consul general at the Chinese Consulate, where he outlined the measures undertaken to ensure the security of Chinese nationals.

Separately, a discussion was held between Minister Naqvi and Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori at the Governor’s House, covering a wide range of topics including the overall political and economic landscape of the country, the role of security agencies in maintaining law and order, and other areas of mutual interest.

Both parties reached a consensus on implementing non-discriminatory measures against criminal activities, underscoring their commitment to utilizing all available resources for the preservation of law and order.
