Interior Minister: Pak-China friendship safe from conspiracies

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi declared that any attempts to harm the friendship between Pakistan and China will not succeed.

The Federal Interior Minister held a meeting with the Consul General of China, Yang Yundong, at the Chinese Consulate in Karachi. They discussed matters of mutual interest and the security of Chinese citizens.

During the meeting, it was stated that the security of Chinese citizens is a top priority, and strict security measures are being implemented to ensure their safety. Minister Naqvi reiterated the importance of providing foolproof security to the Chinese citizens and stated that no conspiracy aimed at damaging the Pakistan-China friendship will be successful.

The Chinese Consul General expressed satisfaction with the security arrangements discussed in the meeting.

Additionally, the federal government decided to deploy the Frontier Constabulary (FC) to maintain law and order in Azad Kashmir. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif approved the deployment of FC following a request from the Azad Kashmir government to assist the police in ensuring the security of Neelum Jhelum, Mangla, and Gulpur powerhouses.
