California: Google has announced the introduction of several new features for its popular service, Google Maps.
The company has announced that it is making it easier for users to discover important locations and helpful listings from the Maps community.
Google revealed that when users search on Maps in certain cities, they will be able to see listings related to recommendations. This feature will initially be introduced in specific cities in the United States and Canada.
In addition, Google Maps will update its trending list on a weekly basis presenting users with a curated list of locations that are most favoured by people.
Google Maps is also introducing a new feature based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology called ArtiFacial Intelligence (AI). With this feature, users will be able to access community-contributed details on Maps in a more enhanced way, thanks to AI.
These new features aim to enhance the user experience on Google Maps making it easier for people to discover places and access useful information within the app.
