The Islamic Republic of Iran has hanged another man in public on Monday who was convicted of killing two members of security forces.

The publically hanged person’s name was Majid Reza Rahnavard who was an artist by profession.

Majid Reza was hanged in Mashhad on the conviction of waging war against god for stabbing two members of security forces.

As per Mizan News agency, the second execution is linked to anti-government protests.

The United States and its allies strongly denounced Iran’s hanging of Mohsen Shekari on Thursday after he was found guilty of stabbing a security guard and blocking a street in Tehran.

Mohsen Shekari was the first person to be executed publically in Iran.

Some rights groups in Iran claimed that Mohsen was tortured and was pressurized to confess.

According to Amnesty International, Iranian authorities are seeking the death sentence for at least 21 individuals in what they called bogus trials intended to scare those taking part in the country’s recent revolt.

The Islamic republic is facing one of the largest since its founding in 1979 as nationwide demonstrations are strengthening that broke out following the killing of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Iranian Kurd.
