Iran fires multiple drones at Israel

Iran initiated a series of drone assaults on Israel, as confirmed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) late Saturday.

The IDF reported that Iran dispatched over 100 drones towards Israel and launched missiles at specific targets under the banner of “Operation True Promise.”

Iran’s UN representatives justified these attacks as retaliation for the strike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, which Iran attributes to Israel, resulting in casualties among Iranian commanders.

Iran cautioned that it would strongly retaliate against any nation facilitating Israeli attacks on Iranian soil.

In response, Yemen’s Huthi rebels, allegedly in coordination with Iran, launched multiple drones towards Israel, as reported by security firm Ambrey.

The IDF remains on high alert, closely monitoring all potential targets, with Israel’s defense systems fully deployed.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed the nation’s preparedness for any scenario and expressed gratitude for the support received from the US, Britain, France, and other allies.

Under President Joe Biden, the US reiterated its commitment to stand by Israel in the face of Iranian aggression.

A retired Israeli general revealed that each Iranian drone carried 20 kg of explosives.

The IDF assured the public of its ability to intercept incoming armed drones and activate sirens in the event of a threat.

Israeli citizens are being warned several hours in advance, leading to heightened levels of anxiety across the country.
