Ishaq Dar appointed leader of Pakistani delegation for 15th OIC session

The Pakistani delegation, led by Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, will be attending the 15th session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Gambia on May 4 to 5. Dar will also participate in the OIC foreign minister’s council meeting on May 2 to discuss critical issues such as the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the right to self-determination for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

The summit comes at a crucial time for the Muslim Ummah, as the leaders will address the escalating situation in Gaza and work towards presenting a unified stance on the Palestine issue. Dar will also state the importance of unity among Muslim countries in the face of growing Islamophobia and discuss Pakistan’s approach to these challenges.

Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister will focus on combating terrorism and addressing other global challenges, highlighting the need for collective solutions within the Muslim Ummah.
