Israel offers help to Turkiye after earthquake

Israel has offered help to Turkiye after a severe earthquake in Turkiye.

According to foreign media, Israel offered help to Turkey for rescue operations after the devastation caused by the severe earthquake.

Israel directed the Ministry of Defense and the IDF to prepare for immediate assistance to Turkey under the International Rescue Unit, the Israeli Defense Minister said in a statement.

The Israeli Defense Minister said that our forces are fully prepared for the kind of help Turkey needs; our security system is best equipped to deal with the crisis in such areas.

On the other hand, The Israeli Foreign Minister expressed regret over the earthquake in Turkey and the resulting loss of lives.

“We express our condolences to the families of those injured in the earthquake and the families of those who died,” he said.

It should be noted that more than 1,000 deaths had been confirmed so far as a result of the earthquake in Turkey.
