Lahore Arts Council Alhamra introduces ‘Alhamra Melodies’ and reopens renovated Burney garden

The Lahore Arts Council Alhamra has achieved another remarkable milestone in its ongoing mission to provide a platform for budding artists to showcase their talents. A new initiative, “Alhamra Melodies,” was unveiled to foster the growth and appreciation of art.

Additionally, the beautifully renovated Alhamra Burney Garden was reopened, enhancing the allure of Alhamra Arts Council.

The inauguration of Alhamra Melodies was graced by the presence of the Provincial Minister for Information and Culture, Punjab, Aamir Mir.

During the event, the stage came alive with performances by teachers from the Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts and dedicated young artists, igniting the audience’s enthusiasm and earning heartfelt applause.

The occasion also served as a farewell ceremony for the Honorable Secretary of Information and Culture, Ali Nawaz Malik. Senior officials from the Department of Information and Culture paid tribute to Ali Nawaz Malik’s invaluable service and extended their best wishes for his future endeavors.

Notable figures in attendance included Provincial Secretary of Information and Culture, Danyal Gilani, Executive Director of Alhamra, Tariq Mehmood Chaudhry, and DGPR Rubina Afzal. This gathering was a testament to the vibrant arts community and its unwavering dedication to the promotion of culture and talent.
