Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz inaugurated a daycare center at Children’s Hospital Lahore and visited various wards, interacting with children and their parents.
She pledged support for the hospital, announcing plans for a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and overseeing the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a college block. Nawaz also instructed officials to expedite the ICU’s construction and allocated funds for its completion.
Additionally, she directed provincial ministers to visit the hospital daily to ensure adequate facilities and reviewed the daycare center’s amenities.
Furthermore, Nawaz engaged with healthcare staff, discussing improvements and receiving updates on hospital infrastructure development aimed at enhancing education and research opportunities for medical students in pediatric healthcare.
