Modi disqualified me because he is afraid, Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has blamed the fear of Modi for his disqualification.

A day after his disqualification by the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi held a press conference in which he took a dig at Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“The reason for my disqualification is Narendra Modi’s fear, the way in which I have talked about the Modi-Adani nexus, but I am not afraid and will continue to ask questions.

The Congress leader said that Modi was afraid of his speeches and that he saw this fear in his eyes, and that is why first there was panic and he was disqualified.

“Some ministers are lying about me that I sought help from foreign powers but there is nothing like that, I will never shy away from asking questions.”

It may be recalled that Rahul Gandhi was sentenced to two years imprisonment by a Gujarat Surat court in a defamation case and then granted bail, after which Rahul Gandhi was disqualified by the Lok Sabha.
