Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s spokesman and senior PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair has confirmed the resignation of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi from the post of senior vice president.
He said that Shahid Khaqan has resigned from the post of Senior Vice President, he is a party worker and a big leader and I do not think leaving the post of Vice President makes any difference to him.
Muhammad Zubair said, “Shahid Khaqan is very senior, I do not think his importance in the party change by leaving the post, he is a big leader, he has been the Prime Minister, and the party needs his experience.”
He said that Shahid Khaqan resigned as senior vice president, which has also been confirmed by Marriyum Aurangzeb.
On the other hand, PML-N leader Hina Pervaiz Butt termed the news of former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s resignation as fake.
In a message issued on Twitter, Hina Pervaiz wrote that it is a request to the PTI people who are hanging on the false news about the resignation of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi that he is still the senior vice president of the party.
