Mohsin Naqvi denies allegations regarding wheat import scandal

Mohsin Naqvi has refuted accusations and upholds his integrity regarding the wheat import controversy.

He clarified that wheat import authority lies solely with the federal government, separate from the Punjab government’s operations.

Naqvi further emphasized the federal-provincial distinction, stating that Punjab procures wheat locally and isn’t involved in international imports.

He asserted that the decision to export wheat was made in good faith.

Naqvi reaffirmed his commitment to transparent governance and announced initiatives including a new cyber body and enhancements to the anti-drug strategy.

He addressed public concerns by pledging extended passport office hours and emphasized adherence to regulations for issuing arms licenses.

Naqvi also unveiled plans for Lahore Airport’s expansion, set to begin soon.
