Momina Iqbal takes a stand, exposes online harassers and threatens legal action

Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has taken a firm stand against online harassment, publicly denouncing individuals who send her “immoral and negative messages.”

The Ehd-e-Wafa star expressed her dismay on Instagram, sharing screenshots of the offensive messages along with the senders’ profiles.

She issued a stern warning to those engaging in harassment, asserting, “Do not speak ill of my generation or my family. If anyone sends inappropriate messages, I will not stay silent.”

Momina Iqbal also questioned the moral integrity of the harassers, asking if they treat their own mothers and sisters with similar disrespect.

Furthermore, she challenged the character of those who criticized her, insisting, “Let those with a clean past speak about me.”

The Khuda Aur Muhabbat 3 actress called attention to the religious hypocrisy of certain individuals, questioning why they spend time on social media if they claim to be devout Muslims. She emphasized that her religious accountability lies with Almighty Allah, not anonymous online commentators.

Momina also threatened legal action against the harassers, asserting her right to pursue legal recourse. She shared screenshots of the negative messages on social media, warning that she would bring attention to those who seek fame through such actions.

In a bold move, she exposed the profiles of individuals who sent her immoral messages, including details of their professional backgrounds, which ranged from doctors to other qualified professionals.

Expressing her frustration, Momina cautioned that anyone harassing a woman would face public exposure. She urged people to refrain from making judgments about others’ characters, as she would not hesitate to make their actions known to the public.

Social media users have praised the Ehsaan Faramosh actress for her bravery in confronting online harassment and holding perpetrators accountable.
