Further cast members have revealed on the day of the release of web-series ‘Mrs & Mr Shameem’ as initial posters and teasers showed only Saba Qamar and Naumaan Ijaz as the performers of the Zee5 project.
Actress Faiza Gillani, who also starred in the noir series ‘Qatil Haseenao’n Ke Naam’ for the same OTT platform, took to her Facebook account to share a few photos from the sets of ‘Mrs. & Mr. Shameem’ which showed multiple other notable actors from the Pakistani drama industry, including Faiza Gillani herself with Noorul Hassan, Gul e Raana, Uzma Hassan, Haseeb Khan, Sheikh Mubashir and Saqib Sameer.
It is interesting to note that all of these actors have previously also worked with the director of ‘Mrs. & Mr. Shameen’, Kashif Nisar in various projects. Saqib Sameer was just recently seen working with Kashif in ‘Raqeeb Se’, while Haseeb Khan had a significant role to perform in ‘O Rang Reza’. Sheikh Mubashir and Noor ul Hassan together made it to ‘Dar Si Jati Hai Sila’ while Faiza Gillani and Uzma Hassan too, have been seen working in Kashif Nisar’s blockbuster serials such as ‘Kuch Kami Reh Gayi’ and ‘Uloo Baraaye Farokht Nahi’.
Kashif Nisar seems to have deliberately roped in all the veteran actors with whom he has worked before in order to avoid any mishap or inconvenience while working for a web-series for as important a platform as Zee5.
