Muslims in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and around the world celebrate Eid al-Azha

Eidul Azha is being celebrated in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and several other Middle East countries on Sunday.

Two large congregations were held today at Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi in the holy cities of Makkah and Medina, Saudi Arabia, to offer Eid al-Azha prayers.

Large congregations for Eid prayers were also held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today.

Muslims in the United States, Japan, Indonesia, and Turkey are also celebrating Eid al-Adha on Tuesday.Eid al-Azha will be celebrated in Pakistan on Monday.

Eid al-Azha falls on the 10th day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah in the lunar Islamic calendar. It is celebrated by Muslims worldwide 70 days after Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan.
