BTS from upcoming drama serial ‘Pehchan’ are now out, and Nadia Khan’s character has been revealed as that of an alienated woman who has a passion for classical dance.
Journalist Irfanul Haq posted some videos on Facebook from the sets of the serial, in which Khan could be seen rehearsing Kathak for her character, which to the surprise of many, she seemed to be doing quite well.
While talking about her character, Khan said that it was quite an interesting one, and she had no idea that she would be roped in for this specific character by the production house out of the blue. The real challenge, according to the morning show host and actress, was to play a woman who was not old in real, but looked so owing to the maltreatment she had suffered at the hands of her family.
“My director trusts me,” said Khan while reflecting on the nuances of her character, and added, “His trust in me is what helps me float through.”
Along with Nadia, multiple other veteran actors will be making it to the cast of ‘Pehchan’ including Qavi Khan, Huma Nawab, Mohammed Ahmed, Hiba Bukhari and Syed Jibran to name only a few from a long list of an ensemble cast.
