Naqvi pledges full support to Balochistan, assures Bugti

Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi pledged comprehensive assistance to Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti in improving the province’s law and order situation during a meeting held in Quetta on Tuesday.

Expressing his commitment, Naqvi stated, “We are fully dedicated to serving our Baloch brothers in every possible capacity. All necessary resources are available to enhance Balochistan’s development.”

Acknowledging Balochistan’s significant contribution to the nation’s progress, Naqvi emphasized the importance of utilizing all available resources effectively.

Meanwhile, CM Bugti affirmed, “We are utilizing all resources to ensure law and order in the province.”

Naqvi recently commended Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori for inaugurating an IT marquee, highlighting the significant step forward in technological advancements.

During a visit to the IT marquee in Karachi alongside Tessori, Naqvi was warmly received by students. Tessori encouraged students not to be discouraged, mentioning the Governor Sindh Rozgar Scheme, which offers up to Rs10 million for business ventures.

In appreciation of Tessori’s efforts, Naqvi remarked, “I have heard about the initiatives led by the Sindh governor, and now I am witnessing them firsthand. The development of this IT marquee demonstrates Tessori’s dedication.”

Naqvi emphasized that such innovative projects could only be initiated by leaders like Kamran Tessori.

Naqvi also announced plans to establish a special protection force dedicated to the security of foreign nationals during a meeting in Islamabad focusing on law and order issues.

He stressed the use of modern technology to combat drug trafficking, particularly near educational institutions, emphasizing that drug dealers hinder the nation’s progress.

Regarding the registration of first information reports (FIRs), Naqvi emphasized the importance of ensuring their prompt processing, warning of consequences for police officers failing to do so.

Additionally, he directed efforts to address traffic issues in the capital city and expedite promotion cases within the Islamabad police force. Naqvi hinted at equipping Islamabad Safe City with modern amenities akin to Lahore Safe City.
