The National Assembly is set to convene tomorrow at 3 PM under the presidency of Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. The Assembly Secretariat has released a 6-point agenda for the session.
The upcoming session of the National Assembly will witness the presentation of the Federal Minister for Food Security Rana Tanveer’s amendment ordinance, the Blasphemy (Amendment) Ordinance 2024. Additionally, attention will be drawn to the gas overbilling and sales tax surcharge in Balochistan with a focus on additional revenues.
Furthermore, discussions are expected on addressing points raised during the joint session of the Parliament addressed by the President as well as issues related to Point of Order under Rule 18. Attention will also be directed towards the deplorable condition of the Chakdara Upper Dir road with a presentation of attention-drawing notices in the Assembly.
