According to the Indian media sources, the second pre-wedding celebration will feature a luxurious cruise journeying from Italy to the south of France. This event, scheduled for May 28-30, will see the Ambani family hosting around 800 guests, including Bollywood stars and international dignitaries.
Anant Ambani is engaged to Radhika Merchant. Mukesh Ambani, 66, is the chairman of Reliance Industries, a major player in the oil and telecom sectors, and is listed as Asia’s wealthiest individual with a net worth exceeding $114 billion, per Forbes’ real-time billionaires list.
The guest list for the celebration is expected to include prominent figures such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt. Additionally, 600 hospitality staff will be on hand to assist during the event. The festivities will adhere to a strict no-phone policy and will wrap up in Switzerland on June 1.
Reports from Indian media sources indicate that Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani, and other family members are currently in London for their fittings for the cruise event. The wedding itself is planned to take place in Mumbai from July 6-12.
Earlier, the couple’s pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar, Gujarat, in March drew significant attention due to the high-profile guest list and lavish arrangements. Notable attendees included Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft’s Bill Gates, Rihanna, and numerous Bollywood celebrities.
This three-day extravaganza featured a performance by Rihanna, her first since the previous year’s Super Bowl, and included a visit to an animal rescue center in Jamnagar. This facility, a personal project of Anant’s, houses exotic animals and is located in his family’s hometown.
