Nine passengers killed in Nushki attack by unidentified assailants

Deputy Commissioner of Nushki Habibullah Mosikhel says that more than a dozen unidentified assailants opened fire on a bus after it attempted to bypass a roadblock on the national highway. The attack resulted in nine killings, all of whom were labourers from Punjab, and four injuries. Additionally, one individual, initially injured in the vehicle’s overturning and subsequent gunfire, succumbed to injuries in the hospital.

In another incident, the Deputy Commissioner of Quetta reported that a motorcyclist sustained injuries during the attackers’ gunfire. The bodies of all nine kidnapped passengers were discovered, all victims of gunshot wounds. The DC  confirmed that the police, FC, and other security forces have initiated a search operation to apprehend the perpetrators.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti vehemently condemned the deaths of eight innocent passengers in Nushki, declaring that the perpetrators of the attack would face justice and their actions brought to a decisive conclusion.

Furthermore, Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti asserted that those responsible for cowardly attacks on innocent civilians will be pursued relentlessly, defeated, and brought to justice. They will find no refuge, cornered until their capture.

Mir Sarfaraz Bugti reiterated that adversaries of peace are adversaries of the nation. Although terrorist incidents aim to disrupt the peace in Balochistan, the state is steadfast in its commitment to maintaining tranquillity and stability.

The Chief Minister of Balochistan extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and pledged to ensure that the perpetrators face the full force of the law.
