Pakistan aims to enhance trade relations with Uzbekistan: Dar

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar stated Pakistan’s commitment to bolstering ties with Uzbekistan across various sectors, particularly in trade and commerce.

Upon his arrival at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister Dar welcomed his Uzbek counterpart, leading to a productive one-on-one discussion. Highlighting the robust and amicable relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, Dar reiterated the significance of the bond.

Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov, visiting Pakistan for a two-day official trip, reciprocated the sentiment, expressing delight in considering Pakistan a second home and acknowledging Uzbekistan’s deep appreciation for its ties with Pakistan.

The meeting between Dar and Saidov delved into the bilateral relations, affirming the commitment to further strengthen cooperation.
