Pakistan contacts US regarding Indian role in killings

Regarding India’s purported complicity in the killings of two Pakistani nationals last year, Pakistan has contacted the United States and the Canadian government.

According to a senior Pakistani diplomat, the purpose of this correspondence was to exchange details regarding India’s alleged “transnational killings program.”

The ambassador emphasized sophistication and the use of criminal networks in pointing out operational parallels between the three nations.

Following the deaths of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in New York and Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada, India came under increased international scrutiny.

These incidents sparked worries about India’s potential use of unlawful and covert tactics to stifle dissent overseas.

Links to Indian officials and intelligence agencies, such as the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), were found during investigations into these cases.

Pakistan is looking into about ten of these incidents with two cases providing clear evidence of Indian involvement. Syrus Sajjad Qazi, the foreign secretary, stressed that India must answer for its purported transgressions of international law.
