Pakistan Railways launches Safari tourist train from Peshawar to Attock Khurd

The residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are praising Pakistan Railways Peshawar Division’s new initiative to launch a Safari Tourists train from Peshawar Cantt Railways Station to Attock Khurd, considering it a groundbreaking step.

This tourist train will traverse through Peshawar City, Nowshera, and Jahangira before reaching Attock Khurd, passing notable landmarks such as the ancient bridge and railway museum.

Its primary aim is to boost tourism and acquaint passengers with the rich heritage of railways, which plays a crucial role in promoting tourism.

En route, passengers will experience the scenic tunnels of Khairabad and Attock Khurd, as well as cross the historic iron girder bridge over the Indus River. Food stalls will be available at Attock Khurd for the convenience of tourists.

Described as Asia’s most beautiful station, Attock Khurd Railway Station stands as a splendid testament to Pakistan’s national heritage in tourism.

The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are delighted with this Safari train initiative, scheduled to depart from Peshawar Cantt on April 14th at 9:00 a.m.
