Pakistan squash star Ashab Irfan wins Rochester Prom tournament in Houston, USA

Ashab Irfan, a prominent figure in Pakistan’s squash scene, emerged triumphant in the Rochester Prom Tournament held in the United States, where he seized the title and its accompanying prize of $9,000.

In a gripping final match, Irfan outplayed Mexico’s Gomez Dominguez, securing a 1-3 victory with sets scores of 10-12, 4-11, 11-9, and 9-11.

This significant win cements Irfan’s status as the second Pakistani player to claim the esteemed Babar PSA title.

The tournament, which attracted squash talents from across the globe, unfolded over five days at the Houston Squash Club, underscoring the sport’s international appeal and competitive spirit.
