Pakistan Stock Exchange witnesses bearish trend, loses 444 points

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) experienced a bearish trend on Thursday, with the 100-Index witnessing a decline of 444.91 points, marking a negative change of 0.63 percent.

The market closed at 70,657.64 points, compared to the previous trading day’s closing of 71,102.55 points. Throughout the trading session, a total of 436,993,041 shares were exchanged, amounting to Rs 19.024 billion, in contrast to 560,552,783 shares valued at Rs 25.730 billion traded on the previous day.

Notably, 365 companies participated in the stock market, with 103 companies observing gains, 234 facing losses, and the prices of 28 remaining unchanged.
