Karachi: Pakistan’s stock market experienced a downturn today with the benchmark 100 index recording a decrease of 159 points at the close of the trading day.
At the end of the business day, the stock exchange’s 100 index closed at 72,601 while its highest level during the day remained at 73,079.
Today, trading in the Pakistan stock market saw transactions worth Rs. 13 billion, 4 crore, 76 lakh and 75 thousand involving 25 crore, 48 lakh and 73 thousand shares.
