Pakistan’s updated ICC ODI World Cup 2023 schedule

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has approved the World Cup 2023 schedule changes made by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Pakistan had been notified by the international authority that adjustments needed to be made to the schedule. The board responded by accepting the idea.

The only thing that has changed by the new schedule is the dates; the match locations won’t. The amended timetable will be released soon by the ICC.

Pakistan’s new ODI World Cup schedule:

October 6 – Pakistan vs Netherlands in Hyderabad
October 10 – Pakistan vs Sri Lanka in Hyderabad
October 14 – Pakistan vs India in Ahmedabad
October 20 – Pakistan vs Australia in Bengaluru
October 23 – Pakistan vs Afghanistan in Chennai
October 27 – Pakistan vs South Africa in Chennai
October 31 – Pakistan vs Bangladesh in Kolkata
November 4 – Pakistan vs New Zealand Bengaluru (Day match)
November 12 – Pakistan vs England in Kolkata
The crucial Pakistan vs. India match was scheduled for the 15th of October, but the security agencies had reportedly advised the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to change the schedule due to Navratri, a festival that is widely observed throughout Gujarat.

From October 5 to November 19, ten teams will compete for the elusive title at ten different locations, with the tournament’s opening game and final match taking place at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

The daytime games will begin at 10:00 am Pakistan Standard Time (PST), while the day-night games will begin at 1:30 pm (PST).

Pakistan will play in Kolkata if they make it to the semifinals.

India will play in Mumbai if they advance to the semi-finals, unless they are up against Pakistan, in which case they will play in Kolkata.

With 45 league matches altogether, the Cricket World Cup will be contested in a round-robin format with all teams competing against one another.

For the semifinal matches, which will take place in Mumbai on November 15 and Kolkata on November 16, the best four teams will advance. Reserve days will be provided for the semifinals and final.
