Petrol bomb attack on Turkish consulate in France

The Turkish consulate in Marseille, France, was attacked with a petrol bomb on Saturday.

The consul general of Turkey in Marseille Arda Olotash reported in a statement that six masked individuals yesterday managed to flee after throwing a petrol bomb at the Turkish consulate.

The French police arrived on the scene right after when the security guards raised the alarm, and the event is currently being investigated.

He further said that “Fortunately, no one was hurt and no property was damaged in the incident. We have reported to the police in Marseille and are in contact with them. ”

Consul General Arda Olu Tash claimed to be unaware of the motive and perpetrators of the attack.
