PM Kakar removes Tahir Javed as his special assistant

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has reportedly dismissed the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister.

According to insider sources, the appointment notification for SAPM Tahir Javed has been taken back.

The notification naming Tahir Javed as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Investment was initially issued on October 6.

On September 14, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar had removed Shamshad Akhtar from the Ministry for Privatization.

Sources indicated that the Finance Minister was also relieved of the position as the head of the Cabinet Committee on Inter-Governmental Commercial Transactions.

In a press conference earlier today, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar stated that no major political party would be excluded from the political process unless legally barred, affirming the commitment to facilitate the upcoming general elections.

He made these remarks while addressing the nation to provide an update on his recent visit to China.

He further mentioned that the final date for voting would be announced soon and that the caretaker government was dedicated to ensuring a smooth electoral process.
