PM Shehbaz Sharif and Bill Gates agree to keep working together

During a recent encounter in Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif engaged in discussions with Bill Gates, the esteemed founder and co-chairman of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This meeting took place on the sidelines of a distinguished session at the World Economic Forum (WEF) held in Riyadh.

The focus of their dialogue was on fostering a robust partnership between Pakistan and the Gates Foundation. Specifically, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed his dedication to collaborating with Bill Gates to further strengthen this partnership.

Notably, Bill Gates commended the commendable efforts of Punjab’s immunization and polio vaccination program, spearheaded by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. He proposed expanding such initiatives nationwide to address public health challenges comprehensively.

In essence, the meeting acknowledged the mutual commitment of both parties to continue their collaborative efforts towards achieving sustainable development goals and enhancing the well-being of the Pakistani populace through strategic partnerships and initiatives.
